Depression

Depression can make everything feel heavier than it should. Getting out of bed, keeping up with work, staying connected to the people you care about, all of it takes more out of you than it used to. Sometimes there’s a clear reason, and sometimes the low just settles in without asking permission. Either way, it’s not a matter of willpower or attitude, and you’re not failing at something everyone else has figured out. Therapy gives you a place to understand what’s driving the heaviness and start to loosen its grip. Together we’ll look at the patterns keeping you stuck, work on small shifts that add up, and help you reconnect with the parts of life that have gone quiet. You don’t have to wait until you hit bottom to reach out.

Anxiety

Anxiety keeps your mind running when you’d rather it slow down. The what-ifs pile up, your body stays braced for something to go wrong, and even good days can feel like you’re waiting for the other shoe to drop. It might show up as constant worry, trouble sleeping, a racing heart, or the sense that you have to stay on top of everything or it all falls apart.

Therapy helps you understand what your anxiety is trying to protect you from and gives you real tools to quiet the noise. Together we’ll work on calming the physical stress response, questioning the thoughts that fuel the spiral, and building enough steadiness that you can face uncertainty without bracing for the worst. Relief is possible, and you don’t have to white-knuckle your way through it.

Life Transitions

Big changes have a way of shaking loose things you thought were settled. A career move, a divorce, becoming a parent, an empty house after the kids leave, retirement, or a relocation can all leave you feeling unmoored, even when the change is one you wanted. It’s normal to feel anxious, stuck, or unlike yourself during these stretches. Therapy gives you a place to sort through what’s shifting and figure out who you want to be on the other side of it. Together we’ll make sense of what you’re leaving behind, get clear on what matters most to you now, and build a steadier footing as you move forward. You don’t have to navigate the in-between alone.

Couples & Relationships

Relationships are where we’re most ourselves, which also means they’re where things hurt the most when they go sideways. Maybe the same argument keeps resurfacing, maybe you’ve drifted into feeling more like roommates than partners, or maybe you’re carrying old wounds that keep getting in the way of feeling close. Sometimes it’s not a specific fight at all, just a growing sense that you’re not connecting the way you used to..

Therapy gives you a place to slow down and understand what’s really happening beneath the surface. Together we’ll untangle the patterns that leave you both feeling unheard, work on communicating in a way that actually lands, and rebuild the trust and closeness that brought you together. Whether you come on your own or with your partner, the goal is the same: a relationship that feels steadier, safer, and more like a team again.
